About Our Mission & History
Mission
Our association brings together a group of wonderful people who are deeply committed to the artistic development of young, talented artists and are ready to dedicate a few moments of their lives to activities that support their artistic careers.
History
The Lower Silesian Frederic Chopin Society was established in 2011, driven by the need to commemorate the most distinguished Polish composer, Frederic Chopin, and his connections with the Lower Silesia region.
One of the main statutory objectives of the Society’s activities is to integrate the musical community of Lower Silesia and to support artistically talented youth. We organize events that contribute to the promotion of Polish musical culture. The association is based in the Music and Literature Club in Wrocław, at Tadeusza Kościuszki Square 10.
